A member asked:

Can taking birth control affect my chances of getting pregnant when i stop taking it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: The pill is hormones like the ones you make naturally. When you take them the body is fooled into believing you are pregnant,so you don't ovulate. The dummy pills stop the ruse and you have your cycle.Your remaining eggs are just stored. When you are totally off the pill, the body gets back into its regular pattern which may or may not include regular ovulation, but is similar to the pre-pill state
