Lubrication: The most likely explanation here is that you are not getting enough vaginal lubrication. This is a common complaint when the vagina is dry. You can try using a lubricant like Astroglide or KY to see if that helps. If you are experiencing burning and itching at other times then schedule a visit for an exam and STD testing
