Maybe (not) . . .: Usually, menses/period indicates no pregnancy. However, implantation spotting or irregular menses can make it tricky to determine if one is pregnant or not. Chances of pregnancy are greater if you've engaged in unprotected sex. So if you don't want to have a baby, use some form of birth control, preferably two including barrier if needed to reduce risk of sexually transmitted diseases.
