Had sex 3 days before period but 5 days before fertile. could i still be pregnant?

Most likely window: to conceive is 3 days before ovulation and 3 days after. For a 28 day cycle, that usually means days 10 through 17. Most sperm stay viable for 3 days in the vaginal tract and in utero. But I wouldn't put it past one to last longer.
