Nothing is 100%: Though no birth control is 100% effective...if you take your pill daily then you are 99.+% protected. It is my opinion that in this case the Plan B would be overkill but if you are really nervous you could do it. It is a much higher dose of hormones than your pill and has side effects and may throw off your period.
