Can vary: This can be due nasal irritation or with dryness of the air. If you live or stay in an arid environment this can be a cause.Smokers can have nasal irritation that may cause this problem. Need a nasal exam by ENT to determine the exact cause and treatment. Picking ones nose or infection can also do this,.

What to do: For recurrent nose bleeds, please your dr or an ear/nose/throat specialist. If your nose bleeds hold your nostrils between fingers for about 10 minutes. Sit up & hold your head & neck forward so the blood doesn’t just flow down your throat. If you are able to – place a moistened cotton ball over the area that is bleeding. If you can’t control the bleeding after 20 minutes – seek med assistance.
