Get checked.: Any new lump, in the breast or elsewhere, needs to be checked. Most of the time they are no big deal, but occasionally they are due to something serious, like cancer, or an infection. Only way to sort it out is by an exam and appropriate testing by a qualified medical expert in the field. Your primary care doctor is a good place to start to begin the evaluation and testing and refer if needed
