my bf's brother is gay.we don't know if his bf has stds but if he does and it's transmitted to his brother would my bf get i2 if using same toilet?

Absolutely no risk: HIV and STDs are only transmitted by sex or blood. Nobody in the same house of someone with HIV, syphilis, herpes, HPV or other STDs -- sharing bathrooms, kitchens, etc -- ever is infected unless they also are sex partners or share injection equipment with the infected person. Profile says you're male and have a bf. If so, there's your only HIV/STD risk. Be safe and get tested from time to time.

A 41-year-old member asked:

Can someone get a burner and concussion at the same time from basketball?

Dr. William Goldie

Yes: Sudden stinging down arms or legs is often called a burner. Trauma to nerves in neck or shoulder can do this. Trauma to the head with confusion, nausea, and alteration in consciousness can be considered a concussion. Both types of symptoms may occur during a major trauma event.

What can cause a foul odor in urine, thats not an std?

Bladder infection: Foul-smelling urine can come from a bladder infection or even from certain foods that we eat. Stds do not usually effect the bladder and i wouldn't think they are responsible for the foul-smelling urine. More than likely it is from a bladder infection. Vaginal infections can sometimes have an odor as well and may be difficult to distinguish from odor caused by urine.

Have surgery, go on.: It's also called: papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum, and is 8x > in smokers, occurs in men and women and in 5% - 14% or cases, warthin's tumor is bilateral. Warthin's tumor is highly unlikely to become malignant. This is not to be confused with wharton's duct, which is the name for the submandibular duct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/warthin%27s_tumor.
A member asked:

My sister just diagnosis with grade 3 endometrial cancer with clear cells why are clear cells so aggressive?

Dr. Michael Swor

Various cell types: Endometrial cancer is characterized by stage and cell type. Clear cell is a description of the type of cells and simply behave in a more aggressive growth pattern than others.
Dr. Lester Thompson
Pathology 33 years experience
The clear cell doesn't make it more aggressive, but it is a description of the cell type. Endometrial or ovarian cancer when it is poorly differentiated (grade 3) has a more aggressive behavior, made more so when stage is include (extent of disease).
