If you: are taking your pills as prescribed, but skip or miss a placebo pill, then you are covered. There are many different regimens of pills, so not knowing which one you are on, I cant help with specifics of the pills you are taking now. Also, if in doubt use condoms. Actually at 16, use them ALL OF THE TIME. One in Five people carry some sort of STD. OCP cover contraception, but not STD.
