No: It is an urban myth that tubes come untied after 5-7 years. Tubal ligation is considered to be permanent no matter what method is employed to tie them. The longer without a failure (pregnancy) the less likely it is that you will become pregnant without some intervention like tubal reanastamosis (surgery to put them back together) or IVF.
