Sometimes: Emergency birth control can sometimes cause temporary menstrual disruption. One should always check a pregnancy test two weeks after use to make sure that it worked. You can schedule a visit with an Obgyn to discuss the irregular menstrual cycles and discuss birth control options to avoid these scares in the future.
