Normal w/OC switch: A recent switch to a new dose, new brand or new product of oral contraceptive might result in some spotting. Your body is adjusting to the new hormone levels. It may take 1 or 2 months for spotting to stop. For sexually active females, it is recommended to us a second form of contraceptive during this period of time.
