A member asked:

What does it mean when birth control says needs to be taken at same time? it needs to be strictly same hour every day or is there a few hour cushion?

In general: You should take it around the same time every day. Some if you take it in the morning, take it each morning. But certainly its not an exact hour. However, the lower your pills dose the more likely that pill timing can be an issue.

Some cushion...: Most people would take their birth control pill in the morning sometime or in the evening sometime. Think of it like eating breakfast or supper sometime in the morning or sometime in the evening. It doesn't have to be precisely the same hour every day.
