I had a tubal ligation 19 years ago. i only have about 1 or 2 periods a year for the last 8 years. what are the chances of it failing. ?

Very low: The chance of pregnancy after traditional tubal ligation is about 1/400. Since it has worked well for you for most 20 years and since by your irregular periods it sounds like you are not ovulating then for you the chance of tubal failure would be even less.
