See below: Birth control pills can cause breast soreness. This tends to decrease after being on the pill for a while. Birth control pills may also contribute the the formation of varicose veins and spider veins. It may be possible for your physician to switch you to a lower dose pill which may reduce side effects.

Likely pill: Breast tenderness is a common complaint, "blue veins" less so. You could discuss with your doctor switching to a different pill; many women are more sensitive to one than another. Best wishes.
