IUD: It is not unusual for you to have irregular bleeding with the Mirena (levonorgestrel) Type IUD which I assume you have. This usually calms down and most women have little bleeding then. It would not be a bad idea to check with your doctor to see if he or she would want to do something to stop this and check you for anemia. This could be done by phone.
