A member asked:

Is there an age restriction for getting birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No if healthy: If you are healthy and don't have other medical problems, there typically are no restrictions. Smokers over age 35 have higher risks and should not take the pill or estrogen-containing methods (like the patch, or the ring).
