Many options: Need to find out why first. There may be maybe some medical issues. You can learn masterbating techniques to prolong your orgasm. Some of the ssri's, ie. Zoloft (sertraline) have been used due to its side effect profile by urologist.

Squeeze technique : First see if it due to anxiety. You can try the squeeze technique or take a short break. Sometime ssri can help improve this condition.

PE: I have tried a few strategies for my patients to help delay the pe. Using a condom with a numbing medication inside the condom desensitizes the the penis and will help to delay the time till ejaculation. Once the condom is off, the medication wears off in about 1/2 an hour. Another approach is using the side effect of a prescription medication such as zoloft or Paxil (paroxetine) to delay the ejaculation.

Premature Ejaculator: This is a very frustrating situation for both the man and his partner. There are two common approaches. One is to actually start the man on a low dose medication that has a side effect of prolonging ejaculation. And there are plenty of sex therapists and other experts that can work with your partner on practicing how to prolong the time it takes to ejaculate...To learn some techniques....

Time/relaxation: Time and relaxation often help. Stress worsens the problem, a gentle approach from the partner is good. Make it as much fun as possible and keep him excited. Some medication is available which can help in some cases (ssri's).

Yes, you can!: Many men complain about PE; it can be the result of both physical and/or psychological causes. Its not uncommon that anxiety about having sex can cause PE. If PE continues, see a physician to rule out any physical causes. Psychological counseling and learning how to relax might be very helpful.

Premature: Ejaculation is sometimes called ill-timed ejaculation. It is a subjective evaluation. You may orgasm too quickly and not satisfy your partner. If you have concerns you can see your doc or a licensed sex therapist. It is not an illness. Peace and good health. Ask about the "squeeze technique."
