I think my bloating is related to perimenoupause and birth control peels as hormone therapy does not help. how can it be treated?

Birth control ??: If you are taking "the pill" it may well be the cause. At "perimenopause" whatever that means, birth control is not needed. Otherwise, look to your diet because that is a common cause of bloating.

Something not right : Actually that does not sounds right. If you are on birth control pills then you should be getting plently of hormones and this would mask the symptoms of perimenopause. I would schedule a visit for an exam to investigate other causes of bloating.

Perimenopause: is the transion when ovulation becomes sporadic. When ovulation does not occur progesterone is not produced. Progesterone has some diuretic effect so when it is absent there may be fluid retention. As you suggest, oral contraceptives can be associated with bloating. There are also more serious causes of bloating. You should schedule an appt with your doctor for evaluation.
