Treatment: Treating the patient for gonorrhea and chlamydia with antibiotics targeted to address resistance issues in your region. Public health also usually identifies and treats partner(-s) to prevent re-infection or spread.

See below: Culture discharge to determine sensitivity to antibiotics; treat infection empirically with antibiotic (change if sensitivity suggests better option); treat partner(s); retest for cure. No sex for 10-14 days until cure proven. Test for other stds that can accompany gonorrhea. Some states require reporting the disease. Take preventive measures in future: condom, oral dam, etc.
