Betadine?: Check with your doctor to see if betadine was used to clean the vagina and thigh areas. Sometimes we use different forms of cleaning preps, chloraprep (alcohol-based i think) for the abdomen and betadine (iodine-based) for the vagina. This might explain why you are only irritated below. Probably should have it looked at. Good luck!

I had laproscopic ovarian cystectomy 2 days ago... The wounds looks fine and there is no fluid leakage...but at a position a little away from one wound small swelling is there with a little bluish colour on the skin.is it something to worry about?
