do you have any facial hair
do you find it difficult to conceive
if yes then you need hormone evaluation and sonogram
if it happened only once just make sure it is not pregnancy i guess not as no sex for how long no sex.

See a doctor: You are 29 and never had a period until recently? You need to be evaluated. There may be genetic issues, hormonal issues that need to be addressed. Stress and amount of body fat can effect menstruation. Medications can effect cycles too.
