Yes and no: Likely the slimming tablets will not interfere with the birth control, but slimming pills usually are no help in the long run.

Depends: That would depend on what exactly the "slimming" tablets are. I am not aware of any particular weight loss medications that interact with birth control but hard to say without knowing what medicine it is.
