Several: Rectal cancer and anal cancer are different entities. Both may involve genetics, but risk factors include in addition, anal intercourse, sexually transmitted diseases such as condyloma, etc, similar dietary risks of colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease. If you are at risk due to any of the above, pleaqse get properly evaluated by a specialist.
