Is it okay for me to take birth control during my period?

Yes: You should take birth control pills daily, although some pills come with "placebo", reminder pills, that don't have hormones, just to remind you to take them every day. If you are having irregular bleeding on birth control pills, talk with your doctor. Write down the dates of bleeding so you can work with her/him.
