Depends: Outside of the body and not at body temperature the sperm probably doesn't survive more than a few hours. In optimal cervical mucus , sperm can survive for approximately 24 to 72 hours or possibly even longer.

Varies: Sperm is active in the cervical mucus right before ovulation for approximate 24 to 72 hours. Sperm that is ejaculator onto any type of surface that is not into the vaginal canal and in the cervical mucus probably survive no longer than a few hours.
