Can happen...: Sometimes, no matter how carefully an injection is given, a person will develop a lump, a bruise, or unusual pain. Have your health care provider look at this to be certain it's not an abscess or infection. In the meantime, cool packs or ice packs may give you some relief. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
