Should a teenage girl start birth control when she has her first period?

No: There is no reason for a teenager to start birthcontrol for her first period. The main indications for oral contraception at this age would be heavy bleeding, sever menstral pain and possibly for sexual activity( it would be advisable to still use a condom).

Why?: This is hot usually necessary. I hope that a girl who is young enough for menarche is not sexually active. Oral contraceptives are sometimes used for medical reasons.
