I have been on the depo-provera shot for 2 years or so. i was late taking my last shot by almost a month. is pregnancy possible after unprotected sex?

Probably not : Take your shot as soon as possible. If you go > 13 weeks past scheduled dose, then the risk of pregnancy high. Depo stays in the system for~ 50 days (~12 weeks) after each dose. If you think you may be pregnant do a pregnancy test/see your doctor.Try to take your shots timely. Also discuss calcium/vitd supplement with your doctor to reduce bone lose . Practice safe sex use condoms. Take care.
