Not related : With 100% certainty all doctors would agree that there is no relationship between acne and masturbation. Masturbation is a completely normal nearly universal activity for all people in all cultures throughout all of human history. Acne is also extremely common in people who do not masturbate. There is no link between the two.

Not cause and effect: Masturbation does not cause hormone changes; hormone changes cause acne. Puberty causes hormone changes, and the desire to have sex (with yourself or otherwise!) you confuse cause and effect! btw, masturbation supposedly also causes hairy palms. (equally false) trust me, there are plenty of males and females without acne who still masturbate! (and a few with acne who do not).

Faces in the clouds: People see correlations that don't exist and even find them persuasive. If a person comes in saying they believe a particular superstition, some physicians will agree with the person in order to keep that person's business. Life events may raise testosterone and in turn make you more excited. Wonder why you have not sought effective treatment for your acne in the first place.

Cleveland Clinic: "Masturbation is a normal, healthy part of your sexual development. It involves the use of your hands, fingers, sex toys or other objects to stimulate your genitals and other sensitive areas of your body for sexual pleasure. Masturbation has many documented health benefits. It may reduce stress, improve sleep and ease pain, among other benefits." See your Dr. for acne treatment.
