Can you get pregnant the day after your period, if you partner didn't ejaculate?

Probably not: Its possible, because sperm may be present in the urethral secretions that occur before ejaculation, although it is unlikely (but not impossible) to become pregnant immediately after one's menstrual period. That said, a safer way is to use a condom!

No: when you have your period there is no egg to fertilize and no lining for a fertilized egg to implant. This assumes your period is occurring as part of a normal menstrual cycle

Yes you can but: it is very unlikely - menstrual flow usually means the woman is not ovulating, and you need to have the egg ovulated to meet the sperm before things happen. Having said that, if you were irregular and you ovulate a few days after the last day of your period, then the sperm can actually hang around long enough to fertilize that egg. But it is VERY unlikely.

Agree with Dr. Smith: Withdrawal (aka coitus interruptus or pull out method) is not an effective form of birth control. Many don't have the level of self control needed to do it properly – pregnancy rate is about 27% in that case. When used completely correctly – pregnancy rate is about 4%. Due to presence of pre-ejaculate – pregnancy may occur even if done correctly. Pregnancy is unlikely w sex the day before period.

Conception timing: Getting pregnant depends on many factors. While most people do not get pregnant at this point in their menstrual cycle, it can happen.
