Cialis: Cialis is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. It is a phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (pde5) in the same family as viagra and levitra (vardenafil). It is different from these other medications in that it lasts in the system for a longer period of time (17 hours instead of 4 hours). All of these medications are typically safe but can be very dangerous for patients that take nitrates.
