All: All bumps on the lips are not herpes but it can be one of the concern that will require you to consult a dermatologist. There are many causes which cause bumps on the lips which may include simple reasons such as allergy to some foods, sunburn, bacterial infection, acne, even possibility of cancerous lesion in smokers, or benign growth lesions such as sebaceous hyperplasia.
