Why are genital warts and hemorrhoids easily confused with each other do they both have the same anal growths and bumps ?

Very different: Anal warts are the result of viral infection of the skin with human papilloma virus and generally firm and painless, whereas hemorrhoids are enlarged blood vessels under the lining of the anus and generally are soft and also painless (unless it clots, in which case it can be very painful). The treatments are quite different.

They should be: To an experienced eye there are definite visual differences, if you have concerns see a colon and rectal surgeon...If needed biopsies can also tell the difference.
