Possibilities: Include bleeding from hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, infectious diarrhea, cancer, arterio-venous malformations, crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Also, an ulcer, bleeding disorder, or a polyp. If you are having bloody stool you need to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
