Jock itch?: Could be a fungal infection of the skin, particularly if any associated redness. Can try otc med (like lotrimin (clotrimazole) af or micatin) for a week and see if notice improvement. Fungal skin infections take a while to resolve, so be patient if improving--if not, see dr for eval.
