First, you might be having contractions and going into labor. If you are not in labor, the weight of the baby is certainly putting your low back under stress. Massage during pregnancy is recommended to help relieve some of these aches and pains. Other causes would also need a doctor's exam to determine: hemorrhoids, varicose veins, sciatica, and osteitis pubis (pubic symphysitis).
