The : The withdrawal method is much less effective than using other forms of birthcontrol. A male could have pre-ejaculate on his penis which contains a small concentration of sperm and be unaware of it. Sometimes a woman can be pregnant but have a negative pregnancy test. If the HCG level simply isn't high enough to trigger a positive on the test. Using a routine pregnancy test you can check at the time of the missed period, it can be repeated a week or less later.

Repeat test: If you don't get a period in 4-5 days repeat the test. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully. Withdrawal is not a reliable method of contraception. Get HPV vaccine. Practice safe sex.
