If : If you want an explanation, a thorough exam needs to be done. You should never feel "tired of going to the doctors" have you recently used any new feminine products, lubricants, or even condoms. Perhaps you had an allergic reaction. If your symptoms are still present please see a doctor, it is for the best.

Probable yeast : Most likely this is a yeast infection. You can try the OTC medications to treat. Vaginosis causes odor, not itching.
