If : If you are embarrassed to the point of wanting to have sex with the lights off, then you probably need to have the area in question examined by a doctor. If you have a gynecologist, you should make an appointment for an evaluation. Iif not there a family planning clinics that should be able to see you for this isssue. Wish i could tell you what the issue is, but honestly it is nearly impossible to say if this is normal female anatomy or not without examining you myself. Best of luck.

It : It isn't clear from your description if you have redundant labia minora (an enlarged "inner lip") or if one of your bartholin's glands is blocked and swollen. Redundant labia are not uncommon, and they usually don't interfere with sexual activity. A bartholin's gland cyst may need to be drained by your doctor. If you haven't done so already, see your physician to discuss your concerns and to get this condition treated (if necessary).
