Can men get candidal infections in their prostate glands?

Unlikely: Although it is a possibility, it is unlikely to get a candidal infection in the prostate. These infections are usually bacterial or aquired sexually (std). Men who are at increased risk for a possible candidal prostate infection are men who are immunocompromised such as having hiv.
