No single test: If HPV is causing warts, it is diagnosed visually, i.e. by seeing typical genital warts. In pap smears, by microscopy or by HPV DNA testing. There is no particuolar test for cervicitis -- based on doctor's exam, plus tests for STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia). PID is much the same -- symptoms, doctor's clinical judgment, plus exam, blood count, pelvic untrasound, STD testing, and more.
