Permanent contracept: Tuboligation is a permanent contraceptive method and some women may prefer this after having "enough children" and some never want children at all . It is relatively safe and effective procedure. There are other methods such as iud, hormone implants (nexplanon) are quite good as well. Or male partner can get snipped--very effective as well. If u r considering, consult doc. Good luck.

Can someone in their 20s have a tubal ligation?

Yes: Yes, but it is considered a "irreversible" form of contraception. Although the fallopian tubes can be reconnected later it involves microsurgery, is difficult, expensive, and depending upon how the tubes were interrupted- may not work.

Is it possible to get a tubal ligation reversal?

Dr. Scott Welkeranswered

40% to 85%.: But it depends on several factors: the best candidates for tubal reversal are women younger than age 40 who had sterilization surgery immediately following childbirth.
Have you considered adopting? Probably cheaper, and the success rate is 100%! and you would be doing a good thing. A very good thing.

Can i get tubal ligation surgery at 21?

Yes: But it is a very important decision. Although people talk about reversing this surgery, the results are variable , so assume that it will be permanent. You are young and life changes more than we think at 21. If you seek sterility there are many options without surgery. Take your time to make a decision.
