I have been on depo-provera provera where i have already gotten 4 shots and my periods still aren't regulated ....i may have a period and bleed off and on for 2 weeks then it goes away and may come back 2 or 3 weeks later .any suggestions on why my period

Normal depo effect: Irregular periods are the norm on depoprovera. Many patients have no periods at all. Others will experience irregular menstrual bleeding. This is how Depo-Provera works. If you are not satisfied with the bleeding pattern on Depo-Provera then consider using a different birth control method.
