OC probs with antibx: Antibiotics interfere with the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. But don't usually prevent periods from occurring. There can be hormonal variation to account for a missed period. First step check gyn if your period doesn't arrive. Use protection backup if you have sex until you've seen your gyn.
