Birth control: Since none of the birth control methods are 100 percent safe and effective; it's better to use condom in addition to ocps. Condoms also have additional advantage--- protection against stds as well!

Contraceptive condom: A condom is not only a contraceptive, but also a means to help protect against infection with the HIV virus. Hormonal contraceptives are very poor protection against hiv. The best protection is a mutually monogamous relationship between std negative partners.

Depends: If you are truly taking your birth control as indicated (withouyt missing doses), you should not need to. If you have more than one partners (or you partner has more than one), i would have him use a condom to prevent transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (std) (i.e. Hiv) to you or viceversa if you are talking about the female condom , i woudl have you use it to prevent stds.
