BCP or Fert Drugs: Pcos is an ovarian dysfunction. If you are not trying to pregnant the treatment of choice is the birth control pill. If you are trying to get pregnant we use fertility drugs, but it varies as to how a patient responds to these medications. The "fertility drug" is actually stimulating the ovary to ovulate.The first drug we use is clomid, (clomiphene) but it has to be used in higher dosages than normal
