A member asked:

30 weeks- having sudden, short pains inside my vagina should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: It could be uterine contractions, a urinary tract infection, round ligament pain and a couple other things. The best way to figure it out is call your OB or midwife and describe it in detail to them, so they can determine if you need to be placed on a fetal monitor to rule out contractions.
