Repair: Prolapse of the uterus that interferes with sexual activity, bladder or bowel function requires treatment. A gyn specialist can help you decide what's best for surgical repair. A pessary is an option for some patients, but not usually those sexually active.

Consult with a GYN: Or urogynecologist who can evaluate you and give you options for treatment. For more info about prolapse see this blog posting: http://healthhub.Brighamandwomens.Org/pelvic-organ-prolapse-common-yet-misunderstood.
