It's evolutionary: Over the past 20 thousand or 2 million years, depending on which version is believed, men and women have evolved to become the people we are today. Those who did not want to have sex ended up with fewer and fewer descendants. Those who wanted to have sex "all the time" got more and more descendants... And that's who we are today. Similar reasoning goes for: why do sugary and fat foods taste good?
